The Angel Pub on Giggs Hill Green

Giggs Hill Green is our local cricket green, strange as there is no hill in sight! In the 17th and 18th centuries it was a dangerous place to be because of the banditry of highwaymen on the Portsmouth Road. This classic Gimlet cocktail is a toast to the local history of the village green!

INGREDIENTS

1 part Thames Ditton Gin
½ part lime juice
¼ part sugar syrup
Twist of lime to garnish

RECIPE PREPARATION

Fill a glass tumbler with ice
Add the gin, juice and syrup
Stir gently and garnish with the lime zest
