Thank you to all of those who turned up to our first Community Spirit Awards at the George and Dragon on Sunday 22nd December. We were thrilled with such a wonderful turnout for this year’s inaugural awards and want to extend a big thank you to all those who took the time to enter and nominate our worthy winners and commended. So many shared stories of selfless generosity and thoughtfulness that bowled us and the independent judges over. It all served to prove what we suspected; that our village is blessed with a really special community full of really lovely, humble people.
